Terms and Conditions : By making a booking with Merchants House & The Booty, guests are hereby accepting the following:
House rules
Check in and check out times unless otherwise stated;
Check in at 3pm and check out at 11am (Booty)
Check in at 4pm and check out at 10am (Merchants House);
No smoking in the property or grounds;
No parties or events;
Noise to be kept to a minimum after 12 midnight;
At least one member of the booking party must be 18 years or older;
Pets are not allowed. Except in the case of assistance animals;
Allocated parking is available at the property and guests are required to use these spaces only. Other spaces maybe available by request;
All breakages are to be reported at the earliest opportunity and will be billed once a reasonable quote to repair or replace the broken/damaged item has been received. This cost will be in addition to the original cost of the booking. Reasonable wear and tear is not charged for.
Keys for the property are to be collected from the key safe at the property and returned after check out. Failure to return keys will result in a £200 charge for a new lock to be fitted. Where guests have accidentally left with the key, this can be posted back to the property within 72 hours.
Filming on site. All filming intended for the public domain must be approved by Merchants House in writing before filming begins. Permission will granted only on the condition that the content meets the legal standards set out in the laws of England and Wales, and in the opinion of the owner of Merchants House is not in anyway seeking to discriminate against anyone due to race, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other form of discrimination. The owners of the property reserve the right to refuse a booking on this basis.
Guest requirements
All guests are required to follow standard requirements, which include having a confirmed phone number, registered full time address, email address and payment information, as well as agreeing to the house rules.
Laws and regulations
All bookings must comply with the laws of England and Wales.
