Yes, it is possible to book both properties together. You can do so, via our website booking pages or by contacting one of the team : info@merchantshousesalcombe.co.uk

Unfortunately the properties and the gardens are not suitable for wheelchair users. 

Yes. We have a type 2 universal car charing point at the property. Guest must use their own charging cables. Please note that this must be booked in advance and costs £0.45per kwh (correct as of 4th January 2025). 

Check in is 3pm in The Booty and 4pm in Merchants House. 

Check out is 10am in both properties 

Yes to both. We ask guests to bring their own cot linen. Or we can arrange linen to be hired locally in Salcombe, charges apply.

We work closely with local chefs who supply our guests with a wide ranging food options. For example, you may wish to have picnic brought to you on the beach, or a meal prepared and ready to go in the oven, or even a 3 course meal with staff to serve and clean up afterwards. As part of our welcome guide we include contact details for a number of local operators in Salcombe and surrounding areas. 

Yes, guests are permitted to bring a small hypoallergenic dog. Please note there is a Pet Fee of £75 per booking.

Less than a 5 minute walk to Fore St with its' shops and the Salcombe Harbour Authority at Whitestrands.

The property is located at the lower end of Devon Road and therefore it is an easy walk to and from town. Salcombe is located on a hill side and whilst our property is very conveniently located, guests will still need to navigate a short uphill walk and a few steps on arrival at the property.
